Benefit from OMAC as a supplier of centrifugal and rotary lobe pumps. The contact-free running of the pumping elements in rotary and lobe pumps opens up important perspectives for the user. On the one hand, the wear-free operation of the pumping elements is guaranteed for non-abrasive pumping media, while on the other hand abrasion and product contamination are completely eliminated. This results in perfect suitability for applications in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. The gaps required for freedom of contact allow the pumped medium to flow back from the discharge side to the suction side. This gap backflow is called slip. This slippage is mainly noticeable with low-viscosity media and ensures residue-free cleaning of the internal components of a rotary and lobe pump, e.g. during CIP cleaning. The designs meet the EHEDG guideline as well as the fast cleaning of the pump. OMAC pumps are available in a wide variety of designs, such as with heatable pump housing, with enlarged rectangular connection cross-section and various rotor options. The standard material of the product-wetted parts is 316L and as an option e.g. Hastelloy or other materials are available. The pumps can be operated reversibly in the direction of rotation and are therefore reversible in the conveying direction.
