Cavitation problems often lead to wear, noise, reduced performance, and unplanned downtime. The available NPSH value plays a crucial role, especially under demanding operating conditions.
Our LE and ZA series pumps are also available with an optional inducer.
An inducer is an axial impeller with helical blades positioned upstream of the main pump impeller. It increases the pressure at the inlet of the main impeller, thereby reducing the risk of cavitation.
Depending on the application, the required NPSHR value of the pump can be reduced by up to 50% through the use of an inducer. This allows even critical operating conditions to be safely managed.
Our inducers are precisely matched to the operating range and impeller geometries of our pumps and can also be retrofitted if necessary.
