We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Martin Graf from the Biedermann Dairy in Bischofszell to our facility in Degersheim. Our sales representative, Hubert Bachmann, greeted him and accompanied him throughout his visit. The reason for his visit: As part of a plant retrofit, existing pumps are being adapted to the modified process control system. Mladomir Cekanovic, our installation expert, demonstrated the conversion of an LE centrifugal pump to an LES model, where the “S” stands for self-priming, achieved, among other things, by integrating an inducer. Armed with the know-how he gained, Mr. Graf will subsequently retrofit four more LE pumps on his own.
