Stainless steel block pumps

SAWA block pumps are made of 316L / 1.4435 stainless steel. SAWA Pumpentechnik AG combines consulting, development and production of high-quality block pumps under one roof. With an efficiency of up to 75%, the pumps are successfully used in a wide range of industries and meet the EHEDG guidelines of the pharmaceutical and food industries. The bolted and very thick-walled housing designs promise a very high degree of robustness and process reliability. SAWA close-coupled pumps are manufactured with IEC standard motors. The stub shaft is simply pushed onto the motor shaft, is easy to position and very easy to fix. Thanks to the balanced stub shaft as well as the flow-optimised impeller/housing geometry, optimum concentricity is guaranteed and noise development is reduced to a minimum.

Pump types of our block pumps

Close-coupled pump type HD: The side channel pump with a delivery rate of up to 70 m3/h and a delivery head of up to 43 m is quiet, self-priming and suitable for left-hand and right-hand rotation.

Close-coupled pump type LE: The centrifugal pump with a delivery rate of up to 240 m3/h The perfectly matched, flow-optimised impeller and volute casing geometry achieves a very efficient and quiet pumping of liquid media.

Close-coupled pump type LES: The hybrid centrifugal pump with a delivery rate of up to 100 m3/h The ideal pump for pumping liquids with high gas contents. Excellent for tank truck loading and unloading as well as CIP return applications.

Close-coupled pump type ZA / ZAL: The spiral impeller pump with delivery heads of over 100 m. The ZAL series is used for low flow rates and high discharge pressures at the same time. The ideal alternative to multistage centrifugal pumps. In the compact single-stage design, pressures of over 10 bar are achieved. The pump is simple in design, effective in cleaning and energy efficient.

Close-coupled pump type MP: The peripheral impeller pump with a flow rate of 100 - 7,000 l/h and delivery heads of up to 100m. The peripheral impeller pumps are available in versions with shaft sealing as well as with magnetic coupling and are used wherever small flow rates are required pulsation-free against high pressures. The symmetrical design is suitable for clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation.

Close-coupled pump type ZR: The gear pump with a delivery rate of up to 9 m3/h. The robust solution for companies in industry and trade. For pumping thin-bodied to viscous media up to max. 3,000 mPas.
