Centrifugal pumps

Centrifugal pumps made of stainless steel 1.4435 / 316L have been manufactured at our SAWA headquarters in Degersheim since the 4th generation. SAWA centrifugal pumps achieve efficiencies of up to 75% and are predominantly represented in the food industry, the beverage industry, the cosmetics industry as well as in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. However, all industries have one thing in common. To pump their various liquids, they prefer pump solutions of the highest quality and process reliability.

Our centrifugal pumps comply with the EHEDG guidelines, the EC regulation 1935/2004 as well as the FDA CFR 2. The elastomers used are free of DEHP phthalate, Bisphenol A (BPA) and ADI Free (animal derived ingredients). Furthermore we can confirm the USP Cl VI and issue an acceptance test certificate 3.1 DIN EN 10204. The housings of our SAWA centrifugal pumps are screwed, very thick-walled and simply designed.

All centrifugal pumps are available with IEC standard motor as well as for hazardous areas. The shaft sealing is realized with different mechanical seals or also with magnetic coupling.

Pump types of our centrifugal pumps

Centrifugal pump type LE, with up to 240 m3/h flow rate. The perfect pump with a matched, flow-optimised impeller and volute casing geometry. This series achieves a very high efficiency and is designed for easy maintenance.

Centrifugal pump type LES, with up to 100 m3/h flow rate. The hybrid centrifugal pump for liquids with high gas contents.

Centrifugal pump type ZA / ZAL, with delivery heads of over 100 m. The ZAL series is used for low flow rates and at the same time high delivery pressures and is a very good alternative to multistage centrifugal pumps. Delivery heads of more than 100m are achieved in the compact single-stage design. This pump is also easy to assemble, clean and maintain and is still efficient.

Centrifugal pump type LET, with up to 100 m3/h flow rate. The submersible centrifugal pump can be used for different liquids in many areas of industry. The drive motor is located outside the liquid. The series is free of any shaft seal and therefore particularly suitable for abrasive, sticky and hot media. Immersion depths of 0.3 to 3 m are possible, are manufactured in a modular system and are designed exactly according to customer requirements.
