SAWA impellers

The impeller is one of the central components of a pump. It transfers the mechanical energy to the pumped medium and thus generates the necessary momentum for transportation. A distinction is made between radial, semi-axial and axial impellers, whereby the shape of the impeller has a significant influence on the pump's delivery characteristics.

In terms of blade shape, there are straight and curved blades; curved blades can be simple or spatially shaped. In terms of design, a distinction is made between closed, semi-open and open impellers. In addition, there are numerous special and customized designs that have been developed for specific applications.
