SAWA CIP pumps made of stainless steel (1.4435) are used in various branches of industry to clean various production plants "in place". (CIP= Cleaning in Place) They allow CIP solutions (such as acid or lye) to circulate in the pipes and through spray balls in the tanks, thus ensuring complete cleaning of the equipment. Normally, normal-priming centrifugal pumps are installed as CIP flow pumps when self-priming side-channel pumps are ideally used as CIP return pumps because they can also handle air very well. All our CIP pumps can also be sterilised or SIP-capable (SIP = Sterilisation in Place)
Pump types of our CIP pumps
CIP pumps in HD design with up to 70 m3/h flow rate are quiet, self-priming and ideally suited as CIP return pumps.
CIP pumps in LE design with up to 240 m3/h flow rate are quiet and very efficient CIP supply pumps.
CIP pumps in ZAL design are particularly suitable when high pressures (up to 10 bar) are required, for example to clean large tanks with spray balls.
