Stainless steel food pumps (1.4435)

SAWA food pumps made of stainless steel (1.4435/316L) have been used for decades in the food industry because they are hygienic, cleanable and reliable! The flow-optimised pump body and the impeller geometry ensure that the media are conveyed gently, quietly and efficiently. And thanks to a design without dead space, the pumps can be cleaned very easily and quickly.

All SAWA centrifugal pumps are CIP-compatible. The EHEDG guidelines are also met. Their hygienic and robust construction of solid stainless steel guarantees a high level of process reliability in our food pumps.

Pump types of our food pumps

Food pumps in HD design are self-priming up to 7m, very quiet, and can deliver in both directions of rotation. Gentle to the product and with a delivery rate of up to 70 m3/h, these pumps are also ideal as intake pumps.

LE food pumps are quiet, robust, efficient and easy to clean. Manufactured according to EHEDG guidelines and with a flow rate of up to 240 m3/h, they are often used for pure liquids as well as for media containing particles.

Food pumps in P/MP design are ideal for dosing of liquids in small quantities (up to max 7m3/h) against high pressures (up to max 10bar). They can pump in both directions of rotation and are very compact.
