Stainless steel chemical centrifugal pumps (1.4435)

The SAWA chemical centrifugal pumps made of stainless steel (1.4435) can be used for various chemicals in industry. Due to their robust construction of solid stainless steel, they are perfectly suited for "heavy-duty" applications but also for fine chemicals. The dead space free design allows easy and complete cleaning. The chemical centrifugal pumps are 100% drainable, ATEX-compliant and can also be designed with magnetic coupling (hermetically sealed design for hazardous media).

  • Chemical centrifugal pumps in HD design with a delivery rate of up to 70 m3/h are self-priming, quiet and can pump in both directions of rotation. ATEX-compliant and also available with magnetic coupling.
  • Chemical centrifugal pumps in LE design with up to 240 m3/h flow rate are quiet, robust and efficient. They can be used, for example, in the LEM version (with magnetic drive) for highly hazardous media or in the LET version (submersible centrifugal pump) for chemical waste water containing solids.
  • Chemical centrifugal pumps in MP design are ideal for dosing of chemicals in small quantities (up to 7m3/h) against high pressures (up to 10bar). They can pump in both directions of rotation, are very compact, ATEX-compliant and also available with magnetic drive.

Applications of chemical centrifugal pumps

  • various solvents and alcohols such as ethanol, butanol, isopropanol, methanol, toluene, pentane, cyclohexane, acetone, methyl ethyl ketones, formamide, methylene chloride, ether, diethyl ether, etc..
  • Acid, formic acid, chromic acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, citric acid, acetic acid
  • Lye, caustic soda, potassium hydroxide
  • various chemicals such as resins, milk of lime, hydrogen peroxide, refrigerants, isocyanate, urea, plasticizers, etc.

  • for unloading tank trucks and conveying in storage tanks
  • for the transfer of chemicals in reactors and process plants
  • for cleaning tanks and production facilities
  • for the dosing of chemical substances
