SAWA electroplating pumps are manufactured from the material 1.4435 /316 L for applications in the electroplating industry. SAWA electroplating pumps have a very thick-walled pump housing and are ideal for applications requiring a robust pump. Abrasive products, such as aluminium abrasion in anodising baths, often lead to major damage at the transition from the volute casing to the discharge nozzle of the conventional standardised chemical pump. For this reason, SAWA electroplating pumps have a tangential outlet at the discharge connection and promise a significantly longer service life. If the surface of our centrifugal pump does become damaged after many years, it can be reconditioned by overwinding. By reconditioning, the pump can then be used again for many years and thus also contributes to sustainability. The construction is simple so that the mechanical seal can be replaced by anyone. For clean pumping media or acids and alkalis with slight contamination, this pump is also available with magnetic coupling, hermetically sealed and promises the user maximum process reliability. SAWA electroplating pumps are available for different ATEX zones. A wide range of different elastomers are of course available.

Pump types of our electroplating pumps

Electroplating pumps series HD, delivery volume up to 70 m3/h, are low-noise and self-priming up to 7m. The pump can be used for clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation and is therefore suitable for pumping out at the electroplating tanks as well as a possible pumping back of the liquid in the pressure hose. Due to the self-priming of the pump, it is often mounted on a chassis, so that the user can use the pump mobile at the electroplating pools. The pump can be operated with a frequency converter to control the delivery rate.

Electroplating pumps of the LE series have a flow-optimised volute casing which is perfectly matched to the impeller geometry. With flow rates of up to 200m3/h and delivery heads of up to 90 mWS, these pumps are suitable for circulation in electroplating baths.

Electroplating pumps series LET, with up to 100m3/h flow rate. The perfect lye/acid submersible centrifugal pump without shaft seal can be used for the most diverse requirements of the industry. For an immersion depth of 0.3 to 3 m, the LET pumps are manufactured in a modular system and exactly according to the requirements of the operator.

Electroplating pumps series MP, wherever small flow rates are to be pumped pulsation-free against high pressures, the peripheral impeller pump is the right choice. The symmetrical design is suitable for left and right rotation.
