The company Dickow Pumpen is a manufacturer of pumps for pumping heat transfer oils (up to +400°C), as well as chemical standard pumps, e.g. according to DIN EN 22858 / ISO 2858 (pumps type NMWR, PRMW, or NCX) or according to DIN EN 733 (pumps type NKL, NKX).

Applications of heat transfer oil pumps

The NMWR pumps are used wherever leakage is not permitted. These magnetically coupled pumps were developed for pumping thermal oils in the temperature range of 250 to 400°C without external cooling. The NKX pump is used as
Circulation pump for heat transfer oils up to 350°C used in mainly industrial heating systems The maximum flow rates are approx. 400 m3/h, the maximum delivery heads are approx. 90 mFS.

The NKX and NCX series are self-venting thanks to the integrated cooling and degassing system. This system greatly simplifies pump commissioning, resulting in fewer problems and errors. The service life of the mechanical seal is considerably longer, as the degassing system prevents the formation of oil carbon on the mechanical seal. In these pump types the mechanical seal is located in an area with lower thermal load, which also leads to longer service life.

DICKOW heat transfer oil pumps of the NMWR /NMWB/NMW series are hermetically sealed thermal oil circulation pumps according to DIN EN 22858 and are designed with permanent magnetic couplings. The containment can seals the pumped medium to the outside with chambered flat seals. This series was developed for pumping thermal oils in the temperature range from 250 to 400°C without forced cooling. The pumps operate largely maintenance-free, the availability exceeds by far the periods of time normally required for conventional pumps with mechanical seals. The double-acting mechanical seals with thermosyphon container and the corresponding monitoring systems required for synthetic oils are no longer required. Maximum flow rate and delivery head: 50 Hz - approx. 900 m3/h and approx. 150 m Operating pressure: 20 bar, higher pressures on request.

Thermal oil pumps DICKOW of the NKX series, according to DIN EN 733 With the NKX series, pump manufacturer Dickow has developed a completely new thermal oil circulation pump. The pump housing is designed for 16 bar and 350 °C. The new pump series thus extends the application limits of the previous NKLs series, which will be replaced by the NKX in future - with exactly the same dimensions. The NKX pump is used as a circulation pump for heat transfer oils in mainly industrial heating systems. The maximum flow rates are 400 m³/h, the maximum delivery heads are approx. 90 mFS. The dimensions and performance range of these centrifugal pumps comply with DIN EN 733, i.e. the sizes are graded so that the best possible efficiency is achieved in all applications.

Heat transfer oil pumps Dickow as chemical standard pumps with shaft sealing according to DIN EN 22858 (ISO 2858) type NCL. DICKOW standardised chemical pump type NCL, was developed for use in the chemical, petrochemical and related industries as well as for high-temperature heating systems. The dimensions and performance characteristics comply with DIN EN ISO 2858:2011-12 up to DN 150 and the maximum flow rates are approx. 1000 m3/h. Due to a wide range of materials and the possibility of installing various shaft sealing systems, DICKOW standardised chemical pumps are suitable for pumping almost all media that are conveyed in the above-mentioned industries. Examples are fuels (of all kinds), acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, heat transfer oils, refrigerants or solvents.
